ESM Technologies Environmental Commitment:

Responsibly reducing our operations environmental footprint is ESM Technologies founding principle. Our company was born out of a desire to find additional value in eggshells left over from the egg products industry. This year in the United States over 600,000 tons of eggshells where disposed of, mainly in landfills. ESM’s patented technologies make it possible to use these eggshells to improve our health, reduce waste and improve our environment; the only byproduct of our 100 percent natural manufacturing process is steam!

Current Products:

NEM® – an eggshell membrane ingredient composed of naturally occurring glycosaminoglycans including chondroitin and hyaluronic acid, plus collagen and other proteins, all are nutrients essential for proper joint health and flexibility. These naturally occurring, food based nutrients come from nature’s perfect whole-food source, the Egg.

ESC® – one of nature’s purest, most absorbable forms of calcium from eggshells. Combining a natural form of calcium carbonate with the inherent proteins nature requires for calcium absorption. ESC® contains many trace minerals which the body requires to increase bone mineral density. And it all comes from nature’s perfect whole-food source, the Egg. 

Production Information:

ESM Technologies collects their shells from a virtually limitless supply of eggshells produced at USDA inspected liquid egg products facilities. The eggshells are transported to our facility in Southwest Missouri where the membrane is separated for NEM® and the shells are processed into eggshell calcium, ESC®.

ESM Technologies & Stratum Nutrition:

ESM & Stratum formed a joint venture in 2011, allowing both companies to accelerate growth opportunities internationally. The companies work collaboratively to advance the science behind Stratum and ESM’s unique ingredients.
